abstract the oil from inflorescences of salvia pratensis l. subsp. haematodes(l.) briq. was obtained by hydrodistillation. the oil content was 0.039% (v/w), on a fresh weight basis. the oil composition was analyzed by gc and gc/ms, and 32 compounds were identified. the oil showed a prevalence of monoterpenoid compounds, with sabinene (21.0%) as the main constituent.
