Abstract
abstract the chemical composition of steam distilled oil of erichtites hieracifolia was examined by gc/ms. the main compounds were found to be -phellandrene (41.2%), p-cymene (22.1%), -caryophyllene (7.%), camphor (5.4%), cis-ascaridole (10.0%) and -phellandrene epoxide (1.0%). key word index: erichtites hieracifolia compositaeessential oil composition-phellandrenep-cymenecis-ascaridole-phellandrene epoxide
