abstract the water-distilled essential oil of anthriscus cerefolium (umbelliferae) growing wild in turkey was analyzed by gc/ms. four compounds comprising the total oil were methyl chavicol (83.10%), 1-allyl-2,4-dimethoxybenzene (15.15%), undecane (1.75%) and -pinene (<0.01%).
