Abstract
the essential oil of leaves and thin branches of eugenia uniflora, cultivated at gardens of the city of bel'em, brazil, was investigated by gc/ms. the main components identified were germacrone (32.8%), curzerene (30.0%) and germacrene b (15.6%).
