Abstract
abstract a steam distilled oil obtained from the aerial parts of artemisia barrelieri besser grown in spain was analyzed by gc and gc/ms. the oil contained 1,8-cineole (30.0%) and chrysanthenone (24.3%) as major constituents. other important components were filifolone (6.3%), -thujone (5.1%) and camphor (4.4%). key word index: artemisia barrelieri asteraceaeessential oil composition1,8-cineolechrysanthenone
